What to include
The work in plain words, the site address or town, when you want it to start and finish, and a budget band if you have one. Attach drawings, a specification or photos if you have them: the more a contractor can see, the better the price.
Who sees it
Your tender appears in TenderPilot, the search used by UK builders, trades and contractors to find work by trade and area. Your contact details are shown only to paying TenderPilot members, so you hear from firms that are serious about the job.
What it costs
Nothing. Posting is free for homeowners, businesses, landlords, developers and public bodies, with no commission on the work. Contractors contact you directly, you compare their quotes, and you choose who to appoint.
