The job
The floor could not shut. Ninety-plus staffed positions kept serving the public while the fit-out moved through the building in phases, so every day's work had to be agreed, recorded and signed off before the next one started.
That is the kind of job where paperwork decides the margin. Variations arrive daily, the client wants to see the programme move, and the final account is only as good as the record behind it.
Delivered by Tatton Projects (a Federation of Master Builders member, Constructionline Gold) for Confidential client. Contract value as published by Tatton Projects. Variations logged the day they happen
On a phased job in a live building, extras are agreed on the floor. Each one goes on the job record with a photo and a price, and lands on the next valuation.
Variation ordersA programme the client can see
Phase by phase, with the dates the client agreed to. When a phase slips, the record shows why.
